Dr. Farzad Massoudi came to the United States in 1979 where he attended high school at Mercersburg Academy in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, he moved to Irvine, CA where his family had relocated. He attended the University of California, Irvine and received degrees in both biology and mathematics, graduating in the top 5% of his class. He earned his medical doctorate from Georgetown School of Medicine and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society in 1991.
Upon graduation, he had distinguished himself in neuroregeneration research and was awarded the Outstanding Research Award in his class. He completed his neurosurgery residency in 1998 at UCLA where he trained under some of the most prominent names in neurosurgery today.
Dr. Farzad Massoudi is a board certified neurosurgeon who maintains his private practice in South Orange County. He is the Chief of Surgery at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo and is also on staff at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center in Laguna Hills. He holds the title of Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at UCLA as well as President of Orange County Neurosurgical Associates.
Dr. Massoudi has always wanted to open an urgent care facility and felt the need for an upscale urgent care in his own neighborhood. He resides with his wife and two children in Corona del Mar.
